Linda Peacock Presented with Growth Award

In August 2021, Linda Peacock from Kiwifruit Vine Health (KVH) was named as one of eight overall winners in the Syngenta Growth Awards for 2020.

The Syngenta team of Raeleen Watherston and Andrew McIntosh formally presented Linda with her award in May 2022, over morning tea with the full KVH team, after Covid-19 restrictions meant delays on travel and holding events.

Raeleen Watherston, Syngenta NZ Customer Marketing Lead, said “After many delays due to Covid, it was our honour to finally present Linda her award in recognition for all her work in the Kiwifruit industry in NZ since the incursion of Psa.  It is an industry she is very passionate about, and she is a well-deserving winner”.

Syngenta’s Growth Awards programme was established in 2014 to recognise leading growers, farm advisers and industry innovators from different regions across Australia and New Zealand, showcasing their valuable contribution to the industry.

Linda is the ninth winner from New Zealand to receive the award since they were launched. She was recognised in the ‘Sustainability’ category for her commitment to the industry, looking for ways to improve, find new opportunities, share insights and ideas, and to work for the good of the whole industry.
