Reducing the risk of resistance and residues in pipfruit

By combining two insecticides from different mode of action groups, VOLIAM TARGO® helps to reduce the risk of insecticide resistance in Codling moth and Leafroller populations in pipfruit.  It also has a favourable residue profile, which allows apple growers wider access to their export markets.

VOLIAM TARGO® is a unique combination of abamectin and chlorantraniliprole in an advanced liquid (Suspension Concentrate) formulation, complete with a built-in adjuvant.  It delivers fast acting and long-lasting control of Codling moth and Leafrollers, in both apples and pears.

VOLIAM TARGO® can also be applied to pipfruit twice prior to 31 December with no detectible residues at harvest.

In NZ replicated trials comparing the efficacy of VOLIAM TARGO® verses Altacor® and Prodigy® in a post petal-fall programme, VOLIAM TARGO® was at least as good as both other products in reducing Codling moth damage at harvest.
